LYSC will be facilitating a four day Zero Waste Educator Training course from September to December 2019, in partnership with KTETB (Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board). If you are interested, please read the description below from their website, and click here for more information and to apply.
Zero Waste Educator Training
Climate change and waste crisis makes us think of sustainable living and reducing waste on the planet. So, we are delighted to invite you to participate in Zero Waste Educator Training. The course will offer a deeper exploration of what we can do to reduce waste – in our homes, in our communities, and in the world. You will also learn how to develop and facilitate Zero Waste workshops.
If you sign for the course, you are expected to participate in all four sessions. Each participant must facilitate one 2-hour session with local community groups or their own community or in their workplace. This will help to create a wave of learning and sharing the knowledge among our community.
