Presentations were given by Rachel Dempsey of LYCS, Lynda Sullivan (who lived and worked with indigenous people resisting mine projects in Peru), Alejandro Valderrama Herrera (Independent Anthropologist) & Joe Murray of Afri . Theres’s also a list of resources at the end of the presentation.
Rachel Dempsey, who also runs Global Harmonies, facilitated a singing workshop teaching songs from the Brazilian rainforest (Hiriko, recorded by Marlui Miranda) and the Baka people of Cameroon and Hawaiian peoples.
